Beautifully written and spot on in the grief we all feel -but, you and Alan feel the deepest. He was yours and became ours. I love you both for making Lucy and Will and seeing that they have the life that Andy would have had. We will always have 3 grands named Butler – always and forever!

You brought our 2 rays of hope and sunshine to the pool after visiting their brother and they played and laughed and we did, too. Andy made a little visit in spirit (a dragonfly) to let us know that he will always be a part of us – even on our darkest day! The pool was so healing for me and being with you and trying to catch Will kept us laughing – just like Andy would have liked it to be on his Angel Day.

Today there are two children in Ireland with SMA 1. I have posted Andy’s website to them to help them in their fight against this disease. They are trying to get Government support for the drug that might have changed so much. Andy’s story will help them to achieve their goal. Even today he still fights on.
