My dearest Audra, Dad just told me about this – I had no idea until today that you had written this heartfelt letter. I know you will have many wonderful and silly traditions to share with Lucy and she will always know she had a wonderful big brother who never got to do all the tings she can do. It is so hard to wrap our minds around this loss – it is so huge. I feel a little silly – after all it is February and this is the only post that is so darn late, but I just wanted you to know that Dad and I both send our love to you and we are looking foward to hearing all about your future Christmases – don’t forget to put some toothpaste with that toothbrush!

Thank you so much for writing this so openly and honestly. Although I try to stay in the now, the holidays and their traditions often make my thought go to the day we will no longer have Gwendolyn with us. I want so much to know there will be a way to include her and your post gives me courage that through grief we will find a way. Thinking of you and your precious Andy. Hugs!!!
