Donate. Because SMA research is so underfunded, your contributions make a real difference in the the advancement of much-needed research and family support.
Andy’s Army is committed to raising money for Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. FSMA is dedicated to advancing research and supporting families by eradicating SMA by promoting and supporting research; helping families cope with SMA through informational programs and support; and educating the public and professional community about SMA. You can donate to FSMA through Andy’s Army on Causes.com or by sending a check to FSMA’s Greater Florida chapter at P.O Box 13335, Tampa, FL 33681-1335.
Participate. Please get involved in local events to raise awareness for SMA and to support the fight for a cure.
- On-going - “Getting Fit to Fight SMA” is Andy’s mom’s challenge to her friends – and to herself – to raise money for SMA as an incentive to lose weight and get healthy. As of February 22, 2012, Audra Butler has lost 87 pounds – and she’s still going strong. She hopes that Andy would be proud. Please make a donation to support her at this gift registry.
